Leyland Cypress Read more… The Leyland Cypress is an evergreen tree. It has soft foliage and drops very few needles. The Leyland Cypress is dark green in color and our entire selection of this variety has been grown from cuttings. It is a long-lasting and durable tree which will stay fresh through the Christmas season with proper care. Customers with allergies to pine have reported to us that they prefer the Leyland Cypress because it does not affect their allergies nearly as badly as a pine Christmas tree.
